Tennis enthusiasts and aspiring young players gathered at the Frank Ofori Centre Court of the Accra Sports Stadium to witness a momentous event as tennis legend Boris Becker made a special appearance at the ongoing National Junior Ranking Tournament.
As we approach the commencement of the National Junior Ranking Tournament, we'd like to reiterate its core goals:
1. Creating a consistent competition platform for junior players.
2. Establishing a ranking system for all Junior players in Ghana.
3. Allowing young talents to test their skills through competitive experiences.
4. Facilitating the streamlined selection of junior players for the National Team.

Accra, Ghana - Tennis enthusiasts and aspiring young players gathered at the Frank Ofori Centre Court of the Accra Sports Stadium to witness a momentous event as tennis legend Boris Becker made a special appearance at the ongoing National Junior Ranking Tournament. The tournament, which commenced on the 27th of December and concludes on the 30th of December 2023, has been a focal point for young talents vying for recognition and rank in the Ghanaian tennis scene.
The promise and impact of the Ghana National Junior Ranking Tournament by Hope Performance Tennis and Ghana Tennis Federation
In a remarkable collaboration between Hope Performance Tennis and the Ghana Tennis Federation, the National Junior Ranking Tournament has emerged as a beacon of promise and excellence for young tennis players in Ghana.
The National Junior Ranking commenced yesterday, and the first task of the morning involved our in-house Head of Creatives, Jacob Lomotey, a.k.a Alinko, and his team branding the entire stadium because we know what a championship environment means to players. Stay tuned for continuous updates as the National Ranking progresses into day two.
We remain committed to backing tennis projects in Ghana, and we're delighted to reveal our Ghc2500 contribution to aid the efforts of the Greater Accra Tennis Association. Special thanks to our Head of Projects and Programs, Giovanni Adinyira, for presenting the check, and to Hajia Zenabu, President of the Greater Accra Tennis Association, for accepting the contribution on behalf of Tennis Greater Accra.
We appreciate the backing of GTF President, Isaac Aboagye Duah, and the Board members for their ongoing support to the Hope Tennis Foundation. Their consistent presence at the current National Junior Ranking Tournament has been instrumental in addressing administrative matters and inspiring young players. The President was joined by Vice President Cedric Dzelu and Board Member Henry Boni Quarshie.
We are in Tamale ! We are happy to announce that our team Led by Enock Godi safely arrived in Tamale for the Northern edition of the Hope Tennis Clinic and Distribution of tennis equipment. We are looking forward to another groundbreaking event, please join us today from 10am to 3pm at the Tamale Tennis Club if you are around.
Tamale has the talents to produce world champions. We know this through our engagement with young people who have been introduced to tennis at the Hope Performance Tennis clinic in Tamale for the second year counting. Our thanks to the Regional President Mr. Danladi and also to GTF Board Member Samson Sayibu, to Rahman and all the volunteers who contributed to make the program a huge success.
