On the 19th of October, 2019 the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) held its Annual General Meeting to elect a President, Vice President and seven Board Members. At the close of official business at the Accra Sports Stadium, Cedric Dzelu the Executive Director of Hope Performance Tennis was elected as one of the Board Members to serve the Federation for a four year mandate.
Elected Officials are as follows
President: Isaac Aboagye Duah
Vice President: Kwame Djangba
Board Members: Emmanuel Adu-Sarkodie, Jesse John Ato Des Bordes, Sampson Sayibu, Henry Boni-Quarshie, Dorcas Sowah, Ismaila Nii Lante Lamptey and Cedric Dzelu.
Cedric is coming from the background of a ball boy and receiving higher education through tennis and currently serving as the Executive Director of Hope Performance Tennis, a not for profit that is using tennis as a tool to empower young people.
For the next four years 2019-2023, the National Administration of Tennis in Ghana fully rest on the leadership of these newly Executives, the Hope Performance Tennis assures the new leadership of its unwavering support in helping them deliver.
